Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Event Setup Assistant to help prepare promotional events and ensure event spaces are organized, professional, and ready for attendees. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange tables, displays, signage, promotional materials, and supplies.
  • Help transport and position event materials as needed.
  • Organize supplies to ensure efficient event preparation.
  • Assist with setting up promotional displays and customer-facing areas.
  • Help maintain clean and organized event spaces.
  • Support event staff during setup and preparation.
  • Assist with event breakdown and cleanup after activities.
  • Check event materials for completeness and visible damage.
  • Communicate supply or setup concerns to team members.
  • Follow established safety and workplace guidelines.
  • Complete setup responsibilities efficiently and on schedule.
  • Assist with general event activities when needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Comfortable performing hands-on physical tasks.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move event materials.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Previous event, hospitality, retail, warehouse, production, or setup experience is a plus but not required.
